On my way home from ca happily dodging a red eye.. After a really amazing and inspiring work meeting, i Managed to squeek on to an earlier plane..

Its funny how fast i get homesick.. Signs like this only make it stronger !

One cool thing that did happen to me abotu 30 minutes ago.. (And this is not a paid commercial).. I was on the plane fishing for a credit card to buy a beer.. I found the credit card.. But couldn't find my wallet… I checked my tile app ( https://www.thetileapp.com) which said my wallet was nearby.. My wallet has a little bluetooth device in it that lets my phone find it… When the flight was over i got off the plane.. But had that quesy feeling that i hadnt seen it

 

 

T ever seen my wallet. I checked my phone and learned that id been near it 4 minutes ago.. But had walked away from it… Hmmmmm… That means…….

I ran back to. The plane and breathlessly explainied the situaltionstaring at the 802.14.4 transport layer.. And had almost worked up the entire bluetooth stack before a kind airline person told me to jsut go check on the plane. I reboarderd the plane and checked my seat.. Not dice.. I told the flight attendent.. She started looking and found my wallet underneath the seat behind…

There you have it.. The internet of things saved my bacon.. And this is the third time… (Last time at 3 am in kazakstan !) i love my tiles !

 

Ok.. Flight is abotu to take off. More tomorrow
