We had a day to ourselves today.. The NAE meeting’s not till tomorrow. We started with a great run
hazy morning <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We took the rest of the day to wander around. One desitination was the Arttechhaus. We’d see one of their places in Houston. THis one was smaller.. but still cool

Next stop was the National Portrait gallery and Museam of American Art. It’s in the old Patent office.. It used to house all the old patent models.. <\/p>\n

Mixed in with the portrait were soem of the old patent models.. So cool to see<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also loved lookign the the modern american collection<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wandered back towards the mall where a latin american festival was takign place.. there were three band stages and a ton of stalls with food and crafts from all over central america. El salvador,. nicaragua, hondouras, panama.. It was so fun! <\/p>\n
