{"id":1059,"date":"2009-03-27T03:12:00","date_gmt":"2009-03-27T07:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/2009\/03\/27\/rain\/"},"modified":"2009-03-27T03:12:00","modified_gmt":"2009-03-27T07:12:00","slug":"rain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/2009\/03\/27\/rain\/","title":{"rendered":"Rain"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pBlogBody_479353678\" class=\"blogContent\">\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t    Hi John&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Here comes the rain.\u00a0 Today was the first day that I thought that there may be no more snow coming down and winter has ended.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not sure if that is the case being here in Vermont.\u00a0 It just was the warmth that I felt today.\u00a0 This felt like April showers a week early.<\/p>\n<p>The morning was spent in yogaville.\u00a0 Today was the last class for my toddler group.\u00a0 The teen class will be ending soon also due to lacrosse.\u00a0 Spring in Vermont means yoga of the outside.\u00a0 We are in transition.<\/p>\n<p>IBM has announced a possible 5000 layoffs in the company.\u00a0 I am not sure when they will begin.\u00a0 I know you will be sad not to be here for that.\u00a0 It will be important for you to talk with friends and help whomever head towards another job.\u00a0 You are so good at networking.\u00a0 That is a skill that facebook or myspace have gotten better at&#8230;yet you have the human touch.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Transitions&#8230;they are happening everywhere.\u00a0 State workers are being asked to take a pay cut to keep the layoffs low&#8230;students are protesting cuts&#8230;UVM has lost baseball and softball&#8230;on and on.\u00a0 I know it is painful for some folks.\u00a0 It is hard to go to bed at night and wake the next day to find your job or house\u00a0 on the way out.\u00a0 Our country and community continues to feel the burden and change.\u00a0 I understand.\u00a0 It is the loss of control that makes the situation harder.\u00a0 It also is this that shows that we should not take it personally.\u00a0 This change will hurt however I believe it is necessary and will produce a better place.\u00a0 Maybe I am just optimistic or hopeful.\u00a0 It is important to keep things in perspective.\u00a0 Job, houses, locations can change.\u00a0 Hmmm enough talk.<\/p>\n<p>Gabe had a half day today and one tomorrow.\u00a0 This afternoon was spent at Bolton.\u00a0 He is squeezing the last bit out of the snow there.\u00a0 He too feels the change in the season.\u00a0 It is hard to transition to lacrosse when there is still snow in the mountains.\u00a0 He participated in a Rail Jam for a little girl named Molly.\u00a0 It was a fundraiser to help raise funds for her lymphoma treatment.\u00a0 I was glad he did it. <\/p>\n<p>I did my thousand errands this afternoon.\u00a0 It was kinda fun.\u00a0 I was very efficient.\u00a0 I had fun delivering some of the Arbonne products to friends.\u00a0 It was good catching up with them\u00a0 This evening I took the dogs out before the rains came again.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight I watched the &#8220;Twilight&#8221; movie.\u00a0 Not as good as the book.\u00a0 I had to read the book because all of the girls in Gabe&#8217;s class have been reading it.\u00a0 I love a good vampire book.\u00a0 This has all the elements of prince charming except this dude has fangs.\u00a0 I also love it that this family has the last name of &#8220;Collins&#8221;.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think this age group gets the connection to Barnabus Collins.\u00a0 The author must have enjoyed that element.<\/p>\n<p>Time for bed.\u00a0 There will be no dreams of vampires although it&#8217;s nice to know we are immortal in spirit.\u00a0 I love that.\u00a0 Good night. \u00a0 love&#8230;d \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi John&#8230;
