TOday we still smell the smoke from the Canadian fires.. It’s still making the sunrises and sunsets strangely beautiful.\u00a0

Fall is definitely coming\u2026 Diane continues to bring in the bounty from the garden before the frost gets here

We had two sets of visitors today\u2026 One unexpect expected and one expected. The unexpected visitor was Dr. Michael Sax…. And his girlfriend (Diane?)\u2026 I bought the house from Michael in 1982. At that point he was a medical student at UVM\u2026 He went to medical school after many years is being a carpenter in Central Vermont. He went into emergency medicine. His wife of many years died about three years ago.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was fun showing them around the house. He gave us some stories about the sequencing of the changes that he made. I think he enjoyed seeing what we have done over the last 42 years. We had met briefly many years ago\u2026It was nice to reconnect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expected visitors was my good friend Jeff from IBM research and his wonderful wife leslie. Jeff and I have worked together for more than 20 years. In addition to being brilliant and nice.. He’s one of the most rational people I have ever met. It was really nice having them here at the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
