Stayed at Mom&#8217;s last night and attended a good work meeting this morning in downtown Boston. The meeting was in the famous Porter House Hotel. .. Hoe ot the prter house rolls and of the boston creme pie. I hadn&#8217;t been in there since my grandmother stayed there when I was in College more than 30 years ago.. I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s changed a bit.. .. The halways are decorated with storys of the famous folks who have workde or stayed htere .. including<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>folks like Walt Whitman<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_0993.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>JFK had his bachelor party there<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_0994.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Malcolm X worked there <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_0996.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Charles Dickens stayed there<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_0995.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_0998.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>and Nathaniel Hawthorne did too..\u00a0 <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_0999.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>and my baby sister Mary even got married there 10 years ago !<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>that history made the meetings even more interesting..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I left the moment the meeting were over and managed to make it back to Burlington in time for a 6 oclock social and meet-up at Generator.\u00a0 First there was a mixer.. there was beer, wine and food !<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_1012.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_1014.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_1003.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_1007.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_1008.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_1010.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_1011.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The topic tonight was &#8216;Eco-Logic&#8217; ..\u00a0\u00a0 (Ohhhh.. I just got it as in Eco<em>logic<\/em>al !).. My friends Rebeccah and Ken and another cool woman.. an ecological economist..\u00a0 spoke on art and the environment..<\/p>\n<p>the talks were all really great.. The first woman spoke about better ways than GDP ays of measuring collective well\u00a0 being . Rebeccah spoke\u00a0 about the role of Art in ecology and visa versa.. she&#8217;s very intreseted in using trash as art to start a conversation on mass consumption. Ken specifically talked about 3d printing. and the transformation its drivign in creativity, rpduction, ownership, etc..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_1023.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_1016.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/IMG_1018.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I loved the energy and conversations there tonight..
