However far we actually walked.. Megh, Kerrie an I spent the ay waling around Shanghai in a mix of rain and steam.. it was close to 90 today with near 100 % humidity.. wow.. what a steam bath !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">My run this morning was nice.. and hot.. call it Bikram running<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2498.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>i forgot yow ming is from here !\\<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2496.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>the air was a steel grey all day.. not sure it was clouds or smog.. or a mix.. <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2499.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2502.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2504.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I met up with Kerrie around 1030 and we had breakfast here at the hotel.. i had a weird and nice mix of sushi. smoked fish and pickled tofu for breakfast.. it lasted me all day long !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2510.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2511.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>then we headed out tot subway and headed for PuXi .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>umbrellas were everywhere in anticipation of the rain.. <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2513.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>we took the metro down to Nanjing street.. <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2519.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2523.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>then headed north to the electronic district .. <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2530.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2531.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>it&#8217;s a crazy part of town.. little shops selling everything from ball bearings to vacuum tubes.. it&#8217;s unclear to me how some of these stores survive !<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2532.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2534.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2535.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2533.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2540.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2543.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2545-Copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2545.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>then ew headed back to Nanjing street to meet Megh,..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2547.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_2569-Copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>we met up with Megh and then walked down to old town and Yu Gardens..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>several folks came up and tool my picture while there&#8230;
