Began with a run along the pacific ocean. It was foggy and cool.. as it&#8217;s been all day. The leader Walter is really a visionary. We had a great conversation about the power of open data. I&#8217;m hoping we can help them engage the community here..<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">From there we visited IBM.. then grabbed a delicious lunch at a seafood fusion place<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/IMG_4224.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/IMG_4220.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/IMG_4217.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/IMG_4221.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/IMG_4222.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">from there, carlos and I drove to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uni.edu.pe\/\" target=\"_blank\">Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria <\/a>for a talk to a small and appreciative crowd. I was really impressed with both he students and faculty. One of the professors told me about their recent launch of a &#8216;cubessat&#8217; homebrew satellite called Chasqui I. . They gave it to a Russian cosmonaut who threw it from the russian space station into orbit. jst 3 days ago.
