Today was day 1 of the FOE conference. my dear friend Ruchir gave openign comments from IBM as the sponosrand my friend Tsu_Jae\u00a0 gave welcoem from the NAE. Thsi si a conference that brings together young promising researchers from academia and industry. We will hear talks of 4 topics: brain computer interfaces, quantum computing, fusion and electric flight.. all topics I love .. and i’d love to learn more on.\u00a0

In addition to great talks.. we had lots of time to network with the other attendees.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

ps. occaisionally computers and software misbehav ein fun ways.. for soem reason this picrtuer popped up in pics from troday I my laptops library.. I’m judging by hair color and the state of that shirt (which I still have ) that this was at a Phish show\u00a0 in the mid tewens..\u00a0
