An exeact moment in time that I could imagine from the time he was born.. until the day he died.. and every day since. Few things are as fixed in time and location as this.. Birthdays , Holidays.. all happen like clockwork.. but are harder to picture and move around in space. This was a moment that I could picture.. but not like this. <\/p>\n<p>Diane and I got there a little early and found some time to talk to friends. We picked up a program and were surprised and grateful to see Sam&#8217;s name in there.. <i>Listed in memoriam<\/i> .\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s real&#8230;. unbelievably real. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910b003.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">We were well supported.. many hugs and sad smiles all around.. The principal Jen made a point of finding us as we came in.. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910001.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">I was surprised how I felt in that room. I was uplifted and excited..and.. &#8230; actually happy.. So many of our friends, sams friends were graduating today.. These kids have been part of our lives for years.. and if anythign more so since sam&#8217;s passing. We love so many of them.. It felt good to be there for them. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910004.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">We were surrounded by freinds in the bleachers.. as we all fanned to try and keep cool in<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910005.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910006.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910009.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910010.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">The grads-to-be all filed in.. and we tried to pick them out.. Here&#8217;s Nate wearing a sash of his own design<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910018.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">Here&#8217;s Pat with his Sam tribute on his head<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910022.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">It was great seeing all of our friends get up to speak, sing.. and receive awards..\u00a0\u00a0 Here&#8217;s Owen giving the validictorian thingy.. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910025.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">And Kevin doing the charge to the students.. he did a clever thing&#8230; read txt messages from the class.. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910030.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">Then Avery and friends did some singing..\u00a0 <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910035.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">.. then Owen, Jacob, Ben and freinds did ..;Forever Young&#8217;.. a song I always associate with someone dieing young. I lost it at this point.. and about 4 folks around me put their armsa around me.. not even sure who they alll were. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910039.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">Caught sitght of Owen down taking photos.. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910041.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">As his brother Owne and Herron got some sort of award.. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910042.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">Then the grads started their prossesion as each in turn received their diplomas.. here&#8217;s our friend Joe.. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910048.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">.and Alex.. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910051.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">The\u00a0 A&#8217;s.. then the B&#8217;s.. then.. the C&#8217;s..\u00a0\u00a0 And then.. there was a gap.. <\/p>\n<p>They read Sam&#8217;s name.. and paused.. THe place erupted in clapoing and yells.. It was\u00a0 moving and sad.. and wonderful.. I yelled Sam&#8217;s name.. <\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<div align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910b011.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<p>then&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>Along came the D&#8217;s.. E&#8217;s.. .. eventaully the K&#8217;s.. here&#8217;s Nate. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910052.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">.. and Justin <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910055.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">Jake.. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910057.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">And Brad wearing the magic tiedye gown that soemone from MMU always gets to wear. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910b012.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">Owen..\u00a0\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t get pictures of everyone.. the camera wouldn&#8217;t cooperate.. but.. it was wonderful seeing them all <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910058.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">And then.. they were done.. launched out into the world.. It was a great feeling\u00a0 !. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910067.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">Max and I both dropped SamStones under our seats.. and we ran for the door.. We had to be in NY for Gab&#8217;e s Lacrosse tournement by 1-ish.. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910068.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">Max headed how with Jack.. while Gab,e Diane and I headed South to Fort Ann.\u00a0 NY.. we made it in great time.. We got there in time for the 2nd half of Gabes game.. It was\u00a0 a prefect example of how the world keeps moving.. <\/p>\n<p>We were now all about Gabe.. and his game.. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910c014.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">Ahh.. one veyr cool thing happened at the lacrosse field.. someone had turned in my wallet !!!! ..complete wiht cash.. Thanks oyu kind person.. thank you world. !<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><a><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"325\" src=\"http:\/\/c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com\/images02\/92\/l_b2b112d3682841a0a322d7ccf3ec4b4b.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">After the 2 games we all headed to Lake George Village for dinner.. <\/div>\n<p><center><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910d001.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910d003.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910d005.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">.. there were even fireworks !!!<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910d023.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910d024.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">and finnally a creamie to fill out a long and emotionally packed day.. <\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/jun1910\/jun1910d030.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">We just got back to our hotel room.. Gabe just said.. he was so tired it hurt&#8217;..
