I vaguely new it was part of our new spetic system.. but we&#8217;d never been formally introduced&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>in addition to the obnoxious arm.. a yellow light on the top was blinking like crazy.. i swung it open.. to find a chaos of blinking red lights.. uh-oh<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_18901.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_18911.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>we read a bit then called the number on the side of the bos<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Dont Panic&#8217; the calming voice said.. &#8220;all you need to do is&#8230; \u00a0&#8221; \u00a0and he proceeded to tell me the sewage equivalent of brain surgery..<\/p>\n<p>today Diane and I attempted that brain surgery.. .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>step one was to get to the top of the septic system.. that involved\u00a0digging the access pro out of the frozen tundra.<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_18831.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_18841.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_18851.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>we read all the warnings about poison gas, etc<\/p>\n<p>then we unscrewed the cap<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_18871.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>and revealed the failing component .. behold the arreator\u00a0\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_18891.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>we pulled it out to find it covered with glop<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_18921.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ick.. mostly hair.. i think..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_18951.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_18961.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>then we screwed it back on&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Sunday night - pooped\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_18881.jpg\" alt=\"Sunday night - pooped\" \/>\\\\<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>and .. miracle of miracles.. it started back up !!!! Yay<\/p>\n<p>What a great DIY project..
