{"id":1504,"date":"2010-11-25T21:11:11","date_gmt":"2010-11-26T01:11:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/?p=1504"},"modified":"2010-11-29T01:56:11","modified_gmt":"2010-11-29T05:56:11","slug":"thursday-night-thanksgiving-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/2010\/11\/25\/thursday-night-thanksgiving-2\/","title":{"rendered":"thursday night &#8211; thanksgiving"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ahhh.. full day, full belly.. just got back from tim and jens from a really nice thanksgiving dinner..<\/p>\n<p>We have a bunch of people aroudn this week.. max, is up, so are my<br \/>\nfolks.. trevor is here and so are de and her kids.. all of those folks<br \/>\nhave attracted a bunch of friends.. so the house is full. It&#8217;s like old<br \/>\ntimes and I like it.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/nov2510\/IMG_0088.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<div>Diane and I began our day by running in the Jarred<br \/>\nWilliams run. Jarred was a friend of ours who died on Thanksgiving of<br \/>\n2001 of a brain tumor. It was his 13th birthday . His parents Dwayne and<br \/>\nMaureen have set up a foundation (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.msplinks.com\/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LmphcnJlZHdpbGxpYW1zLmNvbS8=\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.jarredwilliams.com\/<\/a>) that<br \/>\nraises money for other families whose kids are working through cancer.<br \/>\nIn the past 9 years the foundation has raised 180,000 dollars for<br \/>\nfamilies in need.<\/p>\n<p>Here I am with Dwayne<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/nov2510\/img00114-20101125-0858.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There were nearly 200 folks there for the run this morning.. more than<br \/>\never.. and it was cold!..it was 15 degrees when we woke up..<\/p>\n<p>It was a 5\/10K run\/walk.. Diane and I ran the first 5 K together.. which<br \/>\nput us near our house.. Diane wnet on home, and I ran the second 5 K by<br \/>\nmyself..
