Lit another fire and blew on our hands to warm up. By mid day it was a pretty temperate 35 degrees.. We decided to take a hike .. Yesterday we had to rethink\u00a0\u00a0our first two hiking destinations \u00a0because of axel deep mud.. today we tried another place..<\/p>\n<p>Hey.. Hope springs eternal.. or maybe it&#8217;s Spring hopes eternal ?<\/p>\n<p>After 20 min of trying to climb on sheer ice covered by last nights snow.. We would have been better in crampons.. maybe even ice skates.. we backed down &#8230; chastened but not beaten&#8230;. we took the dogs home and went for a 4 mile run instead. By then we were just in sweatshirts.. The sky was blue with white puffy clouds, there was a stiff wind.. but it was beutiful. The spring sunshine crept into my bones &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Both Peach and Easter are about rebirth .. and it&#8217;s no coincidence that they both come at the beginning of spring.. and remind us that warmth, light and abundance are coming ..
