{"id":23965,"date":"2015-08-31T21:51:15","date_gmt":"2015-09-01T01:51:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/?p=23965"},"modified":"2015-08-31T21:51:15","modified_gmt":"2015-09-01T01:51:15","slug":"monday-night-29-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/2015\/08\/31\/monday-night-29-years\/","title":{"rendered":"Monday night &#8211; 29 years !"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today i celebrated being married to Diane, the love of my life , for 29 years !. we&#8217;ve been together for 33 .. i consider myself so lucky to have diane by my side in this life (and no doubt others :-).. she&#8217;s my love, my friend.. and my best colleague.. can&#8217;t believe i got all that in one beautiful package \ud83d\ude42<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_11171.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I took the day off.. (mostly :0) We celebrated today as we did the day before our wedding by climbing camels hump.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_11121.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hardly anyone there.. up and down in just over 3.5 hours. It was cold, cloudy and windy at the top.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_10821.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1083.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1091.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1092.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1094.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1097.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1100.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1102.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>we defended down the alpine trail.. and took the small side path down to the wing of the<a href=\"http:\/\/archive.burlingtonfreepress.com\/article\/20091016\/NEWS02\/91016003\/Remembering-Camels-Hump-plane-crash\" target=\"_blank\"> B24 \u00a0that crashed here in 1944<\/a><\/p>\n<p>One guy survived.. and wa found by a local boycott. .. It was strange looking at that piece of wreckage.. some of the metal still bright after 70 years !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_11041.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1105.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1106.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1107.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_11101.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>it was a greata hike.. alternating between cold and hot, sun and clouds.. still to gale force winds. a perfect vermont summer day \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>later in the afternoon.. diane dropped me off at All Souls for the Vermont Maker metope. I was just there for the last hour, but got to see many of my maker friends. The community is still growing and diversifying..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All Souls is such a beautiful setting. Great thanks to my friend John A. for playing host.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1125.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1130.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Diane picked me up there and we took advantage of the nice day to stroll around the grounds and visit the labyrinth<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1134.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1137.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1138.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1140.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_11331.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From there Diane and I went out to our favorite restaurant.. Shush-do.. a counter service Japanese place in a strip mall in williston.. still some of the best sushi i have found outside of NYC, SF or Tokyo\\\\On the way home we snuck by the Round Church to make it official again .. 29 years ago today !.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1146.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1153.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>i love you Diane.. Will you marry me ?!
