The big news for the day is that Gabe left today for Argentina. He’s going to be down there for a 2 week language class.. ten I’m going to meet him for some traveling around the country. I’m really proud of Gabe going off to do this.. he’s looking forward to new people and new places.. he’ll e speaking Spanish solid for 2 weeks.. which is going to be really fun and challenging, I’m sure..\u00a0\u00a0 It was fun adn hard droppign him at the airport..<\/p>\n

I’m excited for him !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The rest of the day was very busy as I prepare for my own trip. I did get to take a nice break wen my old friend Fram and I met for lunch.. Fram\u00a0 who now lives in San Diego, used to be Diane’s office mate.. he’s a great guy\u00a0\u00a0 and it was fun catching up.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After dropping gabe at teh arport, Diane and I headed downtown to see the annual ock Camp summer concert. Rock Camp is a program run by our frinds Greg and Richard.. that teached kids how to play together in a band. They learn coposition, staing , a nd rock history.. both max and sam got a big part of their musical start thorough rock camp..<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We have a great picute of sam at camp.. he’d made these pants out of duct tape..<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

there are still signs of sam around the place.. is pictures are still up in the rock camp office .. and we found a smastone right inside the door.<\/p>\n

Todays concert was really great.. there was , hardcore, torch rock\u00a0 and grunge..<\/p>\n

We ran into dylan’s family\u00a0 there,\u00a0\u00a0 their son duston was playing.. in one of the bands..It was really great to see dustin playing. He’s gotten so good on the guitar since dylan died..
\nI think he’s fnidng it really healing..<\/p>\n

It was so good being back in that palce and feelign the energy .. I encourage everyone to check out the programs and the concerts..<\/p>\n

Gabe called right before they took off.. he sounded excxited..e’ll wake up tomorrow on the other ind of the planet.. how cool is that..<\/p>\n

I’ll let you all know what we hear from him.<\/p>\n
