Marty died 2 weeks ago at age 85 from Alzheimers.. \u00a0 Diane, Deb and I came down last night, stayed with my mom.. then came down to the cape for the service today and reception afterwards. I was glad to be here. Marty was a fun guy wiith a big loving family. There was a good crowd at his Mass.. I&#8217;ve bene to so many Catholic funerals in recent history that I have a good portion of the mass committed to memory.. it felt good and comforting..<\/p>\n<p>There were seen great stories about Marty.. including how much he loved being in the cranberry parade dressed up every year. \u00a0 Here he is as Carmen Moran-da<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/12484620_10208065471177885_9180291035986045513_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"538\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We spent the afternoon and evening with Jen and her family. .It was great hanging out with them and hearing more about their life\u00a0\u00a0with their dad..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_7037.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_7047.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It as Jen&#8217;s birthday today.. crazy juxtaposition<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_7034.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_7032.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_7052.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Later that afternoon.. we checked into our very nice hotel.. the breakers in Dennis.. Diane and deb went out to the beach with Jen and Tim.. I went to sleep (fighting off a sore throat)<\/p>\n<p>on the walk diane and Deb saw this seal !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_6390.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Around 6 we headed to Jen&#8217;s sister Sal&#8217;s for dinner.. that mean another birthday cake for Jen !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_7055.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>one gift was a great 8th grade photo of jen.. looks pretty close !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/IMG_7073.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ok.. can&#8217;t keep my eyes open any longer.
