Today is both Earth day and Pesach.. -(aka Passover) ..two great reminders of spring awakening..<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Diane is out of town today.. so I just sat down and worked for about 11 hours.. and didn’t really look up until just before 5..<\/p>\n

when i looked up.. i realized i didnt want to let the combined earth\/pesach go completely unmarked, so \u00a0I called up my good freind Jared.. and asked if he was up to a<\/p>\n

impromptu seder.. .. hes always up to anything.. !..<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

i cokked up some matzoh balls in msso soup and chooped up apples for chaorset.. I ran to the store and bught horseradish, macaroons and that nasty manishevitz wine.. \u00a0jared stopped at a store on the way out and baught a bunch of funky smoked \u00a0fish, giffilte fish , latkes and knishes.. \"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

jared showed up about 7 , we packed up\"\"<\/p>\n

and drove down to the long trail bridge.. a mile up river from our house<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

we even brought pillows.. because you’re supposed to recline at the table on pesach<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

i used our goofy pesach plate and we added all the stuff.. egg, matzoh, parsley charoset, a bone (plaied here by stinky smoked fish) ,\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

we also broke out the manishevitz and my homemade matzoh ball soup\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

i had an old zeroxed hagadah that freind russel hd given us in 1991\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

the first ‘glass’ of wine\u00a0\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

we did a .. uh.. short.. version of the service.. we did get in all the main prayers..a dn sang a really loud and goofy DAYNU’.. .. which means ‘it would have been enough’..<\/p>\n

its a song of thanks..adn I felt greatful for my family, my freinds. the beutiful bridge, the nice night and the reeking fish.. lie dooesnt get much better<\/p>\n

then.. the \u00a0main course..\u00a0\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

wherever you are, whatever your beleifs<\/p>\n

i hope you are welcoming the spring and the renwel it brings<\/p>\n
