Dobro ve\u010der from Dubrovnic, Croatia. Diane and I jsut got back from picking up Max at the airort.. so the four of us are all together in this very interesting part of the world.<\/p>\n

we got to Split last night with Andrej and Peter.. We were all so tired we all went to our hotels and went to bed. Diane and I woke up aroudn 8 and went for a short run. we couldn’t beleive how big and busy Split was !<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

the Place has been turned in to a huge mall full of trinket stores and snack shops.. it’s really too bad.. it would have been so much more beutiful without all the commercial stuff. \u00a0even so.. the old buildings were pretty cool \u00a0Too many folks for me to hang out for long there, though<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

wegot ot the ocean.. and again. it was a zoo !. huge ships, tons of people. good for a few minutes of sightseeing.. but i had all I needed in 10 minutes<\/p>\n

we found a little bit quieter path back to the house through town which was nice..<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

there were some great markets already opened in the early morning<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

we foudn a little bit of green too !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

here’s our really wonderful hote. Apartman Fonte.. and very ice Varto who runs it. THe place was his grandparents ad is more than 150 years old.<\/p>\n

we got a taxi down the coast a bit to pick up our rental car. Jelena from LastMinte rental was just so much fun !<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

we then took off for the 3.5 hour drive towards Dubrovnik<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

that involved a short drive in and out of Bosnia.. We put a smastone there at a small market.\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

the market provided good driving food .. like ketchup flavored peanuts !<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

we got to dubrovnick airport just in time to meet gabe’s pane\u00a0\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

we got to our Airbnb.. such a beutiful spot. First act was a toast !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
