I did one of the things I love doing most.. that is talking to very smart technical people. The folks at the lab here in Moscow are truly brilliant.. .. what&#8217;s more they are warm and welcoming..<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7035.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7036.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7038.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was a long day.. many conversationns.. many things to thik about.. I was getting pretytjetlagged by the end of the day as we battld our way through traffic back to the hote<\/p>\n<p>At Ian&#8217;s suggestion, we abandoned the traffic-bound\u00a0 taxi a few miles form the hotel\u00a0 and grabbed the subway..l.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7040.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7042.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was a beautiful night.. cool.. no rain.. the city was decked out for Christmas..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7039.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the theater again.. newly renovated<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7047.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7048.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We dropped our bag and headed to a famous beer restaurant garv piva torg. Here&#8217;s Ian trying to figure out where our beers dissapeared to<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7052.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and here&#8217;s andrej.. my freind from Slovenia.\u00a0 Both great guys.. We had a good talk tonight..some personal, some work talk.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7054.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dinner was good.. sea bass and pioroshkis..<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7055.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>then Andrej and I walked back to the metropol while Ian headed back to his home..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7059.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Red Sqaure was open tonight, so Andrej and I tool a quick walk through to see the decorations..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7061.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>here&#8217;s the Kremlin .. looking very festive<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7063.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7064.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i147.photobucket.com\/albums\/r319\/johncohn\/dec0611\/IMG_7065.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>they&#8217;ve installed a temporary ice rink in Red Square ..
