\t\t\t\t\t\t Hi John…<\/p>\n

A week ago this morning we talked for the last time.\u00a0 Hope all is well with you.\u00a0 We are doing just fine.<\/p>\n

Gabe spent the day slumming with his friends at Austin’s.\u00a0 He never even made it up the mountain today.\u00a0 I think it was too much to get it together.\u00a0 He went to Savanna’s birthday party tonight.\u00a0 She is Garrett’s sister.\u00a0 He said it was a good party….just hanging out (again). \u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n

It was a sunny Spring-like day.\u00a0 I took 3 walks.\u00a0 The first in the early morning with the dogs.\u00a0 Starting Monday it will not be pleasant to walk on our road with the extra traffic due to the bridge closure.\u00a0 People will have to travel farther leading to a sense of urgency and with faster speeds.\u00a0 I may have to drive the dogs to the start of the trail.\u00a0 I’ll see.<\/p>\n

My second walk was at 9:00 with Elizabeth.\u00a0 It was good to reconnect again.\u00a0 The last walk was at 2:00 with the dogs again on the trail down Duxbury.\u00a0 It was a day to be outside and soak up some sun.<\/p>\n

In between those times I visited with the Haddocks and made cookies for Chris C.\u00a0 I wanted to thank him for his kind deed.\u00a0 Just as I started to make the cookies I realized our town is being taken over with Girl Scout cookies.\u00a0 I am sure his house had their fair share of sweets.\u00a0 However, I had to continue since I started and I had to give some away because Gabe & I could not eat all of them.<\/p>\n

Jen, Avery, Morgan and I went to the Liz Lerman Genome dance event at the Flynn.\u00a0 Remember we got those tickets?\u00a0 Well, I thought who would like to share them with me?\u00a0 I thought of our dancer friend Jen.\u00a0 She had already given Avery 2 tickets so we made it a foursome.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

It was interesting.\u00a0 Saying that I know is not a compliment.\u00a0 Modern dance is hard to figure out sometimes…like those foreign art films.\u00a0 There was some cool video work and story telling.\u00a0 Those aspects I really liked.

We went to Sakura’s for dinner beforehand..\u00a0 It tasted so good.\u00a0 I have not had sushi in a long time.<\/p>\n

With more time to spare we stopped into Muddy Waters.\u00a0 I saw Julia (mighty the lady) and she is mighty tall.\u00a0 I think I fit under her arm.\u00a0 She is beautiful and graceful.\u00a0 Sorry I forgot a photo.\u00a0 That would have been a nice comparison to Jen & I.<\/p>\n

It is pouring rain right now and the mud is rising.\u00a0 I have to go figure out how to close up the septic hatch.\u00a0 The light is on for the first time since you have left and I know it is the rain seeping in.\u00a0 I will take a look tomorrow.<\/p>\n

I forgot to tell you that yesterday at the book sale I opened a box to put on the tables and it was full of unopened (clear wrap sealed) books on scientology.\u00a0 Apparently there was another box just like that…all unopened.\u00a0 I thought it was odd since we get used books.\u00a0 They would not let me put them on the sci fi table (ha ha)…they had to go in the religious section.\u00a0 I do beleive in aliens (given this vast universe they must exist)…its the trapings of the doctrine I have issue with.\u00a0 People need structure I guess.<\/p>\n
