Sitting on the runway on a weather hold.. Waiting for my flight to. Newark and then on to munich.   <\/p>\n

as i sit hear im reading an article in the IEEEIrcuits and systems jpurnal…its a whole issue devoted to one of my heros, Prof Ernie Kuh <\/a>of UC Berkeley who died last june. Im sitting here reading  this issue which includes several really nice survey papers by some  of ernies students… Many of them are department heads, deans and industry  luminaries. In all of these papers there is  a section of   what ernie did to help them personally, in their csreers and their thinking. … Its so nice to see soemones long and productive life rememebred in this way…   I want to thank all the folks who wrote this article for helping us memorialize a remarkable man !<\/p>\n
