It&#8217;s from OneTesla.. anddespite a few design issues.. it&#8217;s a sweet build.. Cant test it until tomorrow.. but have my fingers crossed<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>they did \u00a0a great job putting this together.. even the packaging was great.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_3166.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_3167.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I built a varnishing jig out of an old powerweels motor .it rotates it as the laquer dries to keep it even.<\/p>\n<p>. so far it has 10 layers of urethane.\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_3169.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>here&#8217;s the interupter<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_3183.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>the driver board.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_3184.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>the crazy complicated endcaps<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_3186.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>the half bridge with IGBT&#8217;s mounted<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_3187.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>and here it is ready to test as soon as I get soem copper foil tomorrow to connect the secondary<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_3189.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>it&#8217;s about 15&#8243; talk and about 2 pound.. hopign to get 18&#8243; sparks from it..fingers crossed !<\/p>\n<p>night all, night sam<\/p>\n<p>-me<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spent the day building a new smaller tesla coil from a kit.
