Today IBM and our subsidiary\u00a0 The Weather Company <a href=\"http:\/\/www-03.ibm.com\/press\/us\/en\/pressrelease\/50218.wss\" target=\"_blank\">announced that we are working with TAHMO.org to install more than 330 high accuracy weather stations in sub-saharan Africa.<\/a>\u00a0 The weather stations will flow through our Weather Underground crowd sourced weather platform into TWC&#8217;s worldwide weather tracking and prediction platform. Our Watson IoT platform can then\u00a0 put that data to use\u00a0 to help farmers, crop insurers , emergence\u00a0 planners and entrepreneurs in the\u00a0 region. I&#8217;m really excited to be part of this partnership and cant wait to help put these stations on line.
