Greetings from Munich where Oktoberfest is in full swing.. and it’s not even Oktober !. Actually .. here they call it Wies’n.. which kind of means ‘field’.. don’t ask me why.. but we spent the better part of the afternoon there..<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

parts of it were just like I’d imagined it …. lots of drunk tourists. but it was so very much more..<\/p>\n

it reminded me a bit like our state fair.. a virtual city that pops up for two weeks.. tehn dissapears.. but even on midday on tuesday it was completely filled with happy people<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

niot just happy.. reallly, reallllllly happy. unabashadley, un restrained joy.. coing form everywhere. it was imposible not to feel !<\/p>\n

here are our hosts.. my friends Katarina and Louisa from work<\/p>\n

and my freinds from elsewhere.. Lisa from Canada.. and Dieanna from California<\/p>\n

here’s the hall where our reservations were.. there were 7000 people ther.. and this was 3PM on a Tuesday !!!!<\/p>\n

food was.. uh.. wierd.. not exactly a vegitarians paradise.. but i found stuff to eat<\/p>\n

out came my glasses.. and that kind of took over<\/p>\n

i actually like johnnes glasses.. what do you think ?<\/p>\n

ok.. i know .. lots of pictures of me and glasses.. but what I hope you feel is the level of fun..<\/p>\n

it was really, really amazing.. my smiling muscles still hurt !<\/p>\n
