On my way back hoem from a very nice 24 hours in beutiful Arkansas.. it REALLY is buetiful. It’s kind of like Vermont.. but with more yummy fried food !<\/p>\n

I got off the plane there yesterday and was greeted by a picture of myself in the airport.. .. kinda strange.. i was the keynote at a large conf here.. which was really, really fun. \u00a0One of my clients is a major spondor of the event.. so I was happy to oblige.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

las night there was a meet and greet for the conference at a place called the Amazeum.. the curator is an alum ni of theexploratorium. and you could tell. it was SUCH an amazing place for kids and adults..\u00a0\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

there were make beleive places for kids to play on<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

and lots of hands on inventing of every sort..<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

even a 100 watt laser t!!!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

it wasnt all tech.. there were cool crafts there to do as well.. like felting<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

here’s Sam the currator .. he’s the exploratorium guy.. great vision ! \u00a0and a really nice guy<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

they had many very well built, very simple .. physics demos that were easy to use , easy to explain and simply amazing<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

here’s team IBM .. including old friends RHonda and \u00a0Ramaesh, and a bunch of new cool folks\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

they had a sand table like ours at echo<\/p>\n

and soem great light bling<\/p>\n

we then had a really good team dinner at a resturant called ‘The Hive’ in a modern art restruant. They brought us our very own penguin !<\/p>\n

i even ate cooked carrots !<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

there were works there by this great romanian painter.. check this chrisopher walken.. its a painting !<\/p>\n

todays talk was fun.. about 1600 folsk in the audience.. including techies, students, manager types.. here are soem really great middle school makers i met<\/p>\n

now headign home.. Ohare is more crowded than normal tonight..<\/p>\n
