Beautiful and cold day.. It’s goign to be in the single digits tonight.. A far cry from the 80 degree weather of last week. As we were coming out of Yoga we saw Venus and the moon aligned in a very beautiful cold night sky. I tried to grab a pic.. but cell phone cameras are only so good.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This configuration of the moon moon and venus means something deep to me.. but I’m never quite sure what it is..
\nI’ve been having dreams about since sam died.. I’ve blogged about it a couple of times in the past… like . And here <\/a>and here<\/a>. which I wrote in Feb of 2007.. just 3 months after Sam died.. The really strange thing is that in this post I also have the poem ‘the dash’… about the dash in a birth\/death date on a grave stone. I was trying to remember that earlier today.. Anyway.. here’s what I wrote then about the moon and venus<\/p>\n

The end of the work day came mercifully early.. I zoomed home for Diane\u2019s 6PM yoga. It was just what I needed. Diane brings such a sense of peace when she\u2019s leading a class that you an almost forget that your hamstrings are about to snap. Early in the class she commented on the view of the moon outside the studio window.. It was a close conjunction of the planet Venus with the crescent moon (like this) \"Photobucket<\/a>
\nI could see it from my yoga mat. The particular alignment of these two jewels \u00a0of the night sky really hit me.. (now this will<\/em> be hard to explain)\u00a0\u00a0 About two years ago I was doing a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)\u00a0 session with our friend Marcia. During the session I came up with a \u2018picture\u2019 in myself of the balance of my mind and my heart. My mind is a bright white light to my upper right.. and my \u2018heart\u2019\u00a0 is a moon shaped thingy to my lower left.. They are connected by a straight line that pivots around my center. My normal configuration is like this.:.\"Photobucket<\/a>
\nwhich means to me that my head always rules my heart.\u00a0 (note: I am also in touch with my inner pirate)\u00a0 Tonight\u2019s conjunction of Moon and Venus is the opposite.. as in .. heart dominates head.<\/p>\n
