\t\t\t\t\t\t Ahhhhhhh.. today was wonderfully relaxing… i really needed a day to unwind and I got it !..\u00a0\u00a0 I went for an early run with the dogs.. Then\u00a0 Diane, Gabe and I went off to his frist igh school soccer game..\u00a0\u00a0 This one was at CVU.. It was a great day for watching a game. The heat had broken and it was cool and dry. and breezy. Gabe got one of the goals… and they won the game.. good start for the year.. <\/p>\n

Gabe had to leave after the first game to get to work. We dropped him at Mexicali’s then picked up Hannah and took her back to our house to meet her dad. Today is the day Hannah leaves for college in Montreal.. <\/p>\n

It was a little hard saying goodbye to her.. having her living with us on and off for the past month was great bait.. we had so many kids hanging around the house.. we loved it.\u00a0 We’ll miss them all. .at the same time, we’re really excited for all of them to be goign off to school and into the world. <\/div>\n

From thee we went to Marci’s om, Sharon’s house in Huntington for Marci’s birthday party <\/p>\n

Sharon put out a real feast\u00a0<\/p>\n

.. It was a great party.. mostly family. It was nice to meet all the folks that helped make Marci so nice. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Lots of cute kids around to help with the important stuff.. liek blowing out candles. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

We got back to the house around 4:30 in time to meet Dom and Hannah. We ‘met’ them in a taco bell in New Hampshire a few weeks back. Well.. we didn’t actually meet them. they figured out that we were from the colony.. what tipped them off was when I asked for\u00a0 lots of hot sauce. .<\/i> .. They didn’t say anything to us.then.. but Dom tracked me down on Facebook and we invited them by. <\/p>\n

It was great getting to know them. They are fans of the show and had soem questions about ti.. but we ended up talking more about life, histories, dogs, everything else. Dom is an RN an a city council member for Barre.\u00a0 Dom used to be a policeman and an EMT.\u00a0 Hannah works in a bank. They met when Dom was a part time cop in Hardwick. He met Hannah at her bank when he was trying to track down some bad guys.\u00a0\u00a0 I thought that was a cool way to meet.\u00a0 They were really cool folks and I hope we get to see them some more.\u00a0 Dom would like to try out for Colony III .. We think he’d be awesome . <\/div>\n

Later this evening we took Gabe down to meet his friends at the Fair.. we got a kick out of the no parking posters everywhere.. It’s just no fair !<\/div>\n

So there ends my peaceful day.. Tiem\u00a0 for bed.. more tomrrow.. <\/p>\n
