This afternoon, diane and I attended our freind Pat’s Wake at Giffords..<\/p>\n

I always have trouble walking in that place.. though i have great respect for what they do.. they are there for\u00a0everyone in town when they need it most. . \u00a0they helped us when Sam died.<\/p>\n

Pat’s whole family was there from 2-6.. the whole town probably showed up soemwhere in there.. We were there around 3..<\/p>\n

The funeral card said it all. on the front ahanndsoem picture of Pat.. \u00a0he looked jsut like that from the day I first saw hi.. i think in 1980.. until the week before he died..<\/p>\n

on the back was perfectly captured the way he spoke. he was a true taciturn Vermonter.. who’s face always said what he was feeling.. even when his moth wouldn’t \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Pats whoel family was there.. it was good seeing them all.. There were lots of pictures in there.. too<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

including this one of us.. the same one is on my mom’s fridge at home, i think .<\/p>\n

Im lookign overat Pats house now as I type.. it’s dark there now.. I cansee the christmas tree lit up in the back yard.we’re really going to miss him..<\/p>\n

Rest in peace freind..<\/p>\n
