This eveing Diane and I went to a wonderful ‘good bye’ party for the Generator. \u00a0we’re beign forced to relocate because our host building, memmorial Auditorium is closing down. The old buildign was built during the Depression.. It’s been a convert venue. sports hall, community center, … and the home of 242 main music. the community pottery studio and our own Gnerator Makerspace.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wthe buidlign is being closed due to structureal problems … Luckily , we’ve foind new digs down on Searsl Lane in the south end. It’s goign to be a wonderful space for us.. bigger, . more fit to purpose and tins of free parking !.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

still.. I’ll miss Memorial.. it’s a special place for us. We helpd Sams memorial in the auditoriium.. and the dinner afterwards in the room that now houses generators.. It always feels good to me standing in that place and seeign how much love and creativity we’ve built there ..<\/p>\n

tonight it was all about celibrating.. there was a good crowd, lots of toasting and soem amazing indian food !<\/p>\n

we saluted our fearles leaders. Micahel and Denise\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

got soem good minispeaches..\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

even heard from our Mayor Miro !\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

some people just kept workign through the soeeches\u00a0\u00a0\ud83d\ude42\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

got to see my dopplecanger Jon B ! \u00a0Even we getconfused who’s who !<\/p>\n

ahh.. here’s one who doesnt look like me !\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

thankyour Memorial auditorium.. thank you city of Burlington.. it’s been a great 2 and half\u00a0\u00a0years !<\/p>\n
