Diane, Debra and I went to First Night early this evening .. One stop was BCA.. It was a joy to watch the kids play with our Floorish sculpture.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1278.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1279.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1284.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1287.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>from there we went to our first concert.. Cricket Blue at the Congo church .<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1289.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our freind Laura is half of Cricket Blue. I really love their music. \u00a0Check them out <a href=\"http:\/\/cricketbluemusic.com\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1292.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1293.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>then back out to church street.. they were setting up for the parade.. but we couldn&#8217;t stay to watch\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1295.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1297.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1298.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>next concert was Group Anwar.. great Syrian music\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1302.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>then a show with\u00a0our freind Frankie.. a great metal guitarist.. now I learn a virtuoso classical guitarist.\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1307.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1310.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>i always love the feeling of the Unitarian Church in Burlington.. .. good mix of welcoming solemnity and fun<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1312.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>from there we went out to Ben&#8217;s house for a Latke party.. a great tradition !!!!<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1315.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1316.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ben lit the candles and lead the prayers.\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1324.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1326.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1331.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1334.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>now home\u00a0\u00a0just after midnight..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>quite a starnge and busy year.. lots of good.. and lots of challenges.<\/p>\n<p>lets make 2017 a great year,,,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>all the best to you and your families<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>nite all. nite sam<\/p>\n<p>-me<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re just back from a great new years eve.
