Greetings from Nairobi Kenya. I’m here for a few days on a work gig that I’m very excited about. I have to say it was quite a long trip getting here.. 7ish hours to London then 8 and a half hours here.. As I’ve often said here, I love these long plane rides. I got a ton of work done.. Until I exhausted my batteries then I read an entire book and watched parts of several movies. I’m still not a big fan of tv even when its the only thing to do.. About 3\/4 the way through the second flight though, I ran out of things to work on l. And even ran out of things to think about.. That’s actually a wonderful space.. I simply sat and didn’t think about anything.. A rare and lovely luxury.<\/p>\n

I got in late this evening, so I haven’t seen anything of this town.l but so far I really like it. The open pile are really warm, friendly and laid back.. . I had a great talk with john, the taxi guy from the airport. He and his wife are expecting his first kid in just 6weeks..
\nThe roads out to the airport could have been anywhere.. But the roads back near the hotel look a little more like India.. I think it will be so cool to look around tomorrow . I’ll send back pics of anything cool I see… Honestly, I’m more excited about the work thing right now…<\/p>\n

Ok.. Time for sleep.. More tomorrow..<\/p>\n
