Good forth of july today… very hot and sticky which had me moving very slowly…. we showed up at the Bressors around 10:30 The normal crowd was there.. it was great catching up with them .<\/p>\n

The parade was cute as usual.. the normal compliment of bagpipes, politicians, firetrucks and floats.. fewr this year I think. Several of us vowed to try to spice it up next year…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It wouldnt be the forth without kids falling off the brisge.. I didn’t go in this year.. but I have the last couple.. Here’s ellis doing a back dive.<\/p>\n

I just missed catching gabe do a double back flip.. i think I have it on my phone.. if so, i’ll post it.<\/p>\n

after the parade, we milled around the park shmoozing with folks.. then headed home for a long slow day of visitors.. we had a ton of folks drop by..\u00a0 Diane made patriotic food for them \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Matt entertained people by doing his crazy spray paint pics.. he’s amazing .<\/p>\n

I spent a good part of the afternoon working on my LED hoop.. only to find the batteries drained before getting to fireworks.. bummer.. Id spent 2 days trying to prep for that.. but.. what can you do..<\/p>\n

one interesting thing about fireworks.. as we drove up to the bressors around 9 we noticed it was eerily dark all through town.. we had a huge flash storm around 7.. it took down several trees, and with them some power lines… We were watching this guy working to restore a tripped breaker.. as the fireworks sparkled behind him.. very cool !<\/p>\n

we ended up walking out on the bridge to watch the fireworks. They were really good this time.. !<\/p>\n

So that was our day… … oh wait, one other thing. Yesterday I helped freind Herb retrofit our pumpkin robot to run on bottled co2 instead of a compressor.. Today herb and others fro the haunted forest took the monster on a flatbed ttrailor in the williston parade.. I found these two pictures from James.. does anyone else have pics of the device in the parade ? I’d really like to see !<\/p>\n
