Friends,
\nI apologize whole heartedly for the lame short posts over the last couple of days.. I’ve been traveling and had too many late nights in a row.. I’ll try to make up for it with a few days of pics and stories..<\/p>\n

I began the day in Sherborn at my folks house.. I decided to make a short spontaneous visit last night which worked out well.. (though I managed to fall asleep in my clothes and nearly forgot to blog). It was good seeing my folks..<\/p>\n

I got on the road home around noon.. and made good time. I really enjoy driving and daydreaming.. snapped out of it when I saw these guys pass me

The second I got home we plonked the canoe on the car and headed up to gillette pond… I was in the mood to see turtles .. and see them we did !<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\nCheck out this stowaway we had on board..<\/p>\n

We got home to find two waskally wabbits casing our raspberry plants..
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Later this evening Jackie and Summer came over and we did soem surgery on\u00a0 the LED hoop I’d made jackie a few months back.. I also had her try out my new computerized one.. I thin you will like the results.. Here’s a few pics from that ..<\/p>\n

ok.. that was today.. now. working backwards through the weekend… Yesterday our freind Jack came over to show us the new tribute ink he got for Sam.. . it means so much to us when someone chooses to honor Sam like this..

so.. that was saturday… we got home at about 3:30 AM on sturday morning after a really full Friday.. We left home around 8AM friday morning and drove down to Great Escape and spent most of the day htere. We used to go there all the time with the three kids.. we’ve been back once ince sam’s passing.. it felt good to be back there and relive those memories of all the boys there.. It was a hot day.. but not unbearably so.. and for some reason the crowds were not bad at all !.<\/p>\n

We went and visited soem of the places we hung out when the kids were small.. like the alices wonderland wierd little dead end place<\/p>\n

and the old jungle walk.. another dead end place.. we were almost the only ones in there .<\/p>\n

And the weird old western village<\/p>\n

Gabe and raya did mostly coasters.. (i did the comet)..\u00a0 love coasters, but my brain doesn’t like them …

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/p>\n

I even got to catch a 30 minute nap under a tree while everyone else went swimming !\u00a0 I can sleep anywhere !<\/p>\n

we dropped a bunch of samstones around the park at places we all liked to go ..
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

including in Porcelino’s mouth.. he’s the bronze pig at the entrance … supposedly if you rub his nose, you’ll come back to the park.. and in a way, sam did..
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

around 4:00 we left the park and headed down to Saratogoa for the Phish show..<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The place was swarming with wonderfully happy hippies.. we spent a few hours checking out the place, soaking up the vibe, and seeing freinds.. (thanks freinds !) ..<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\nthen it was time for the show.. it was AMAZING !.. I am such a phish live show freak now..\u00a0 I was trying to figure otu a way to see one or both more shows at spac.. but it was not to be..\u00a0 it was gabe, raya and dianes first show.. and they loved it too !\u00a0 The guys have *such* great energy !<\/p>\n

What a GREAT night… what a great day.. the drive home was long.. but worth it..<\/p>\n

speakign of long.. this is a really long post.. Hope there arent too many pictures here to enjoy.. but.. I gotta say.. what a great weekend.. what a great vacation.<\/p>\n

ok.. tomorrow its back to work.. so .. gotta sleep.. more tomorrow..<\/p>\n
