Such a fun and busy day…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

dianes alarm went off at 5:30 am. time  to get up and get ready for julia and her bride squad to show up at 6 AM to cut flowers for the wedding. I got up to help … <\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\\<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

those guys were out the door by 8ish.. then there was about 30 muinutes of peace…until floatapolooza folks started showing up.. Like last year, we let them use our yard, power, compressors.. and anythign alse they needed to get ready. they had 400 folks signed up.. not sure how many were here.. but there were plenty.. !!!!.. Here’s our back yaard about 10AM..<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

around 12:30 is.. Mike got everyoen to pick up their floats and head down to the river.. it was so cool and colorful !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I happen to know thats all poison ivy down there.. hope they msised it !<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

because we had nate and julia’s wedding.. we could only float for 30 min or so. . but it was worth it.. Max was in town, gabe was home.. so we grabbed floats and jumped in the river too !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

we got back to the house aroudn 1.. and then ruched ot get ready to leave at .. thien it was about a 45 minute drive to ShangriLa in Starksboro where the wedding was … Shangrila belongs ot Garrots aunt.. .. it was a beutiful spot.. <\/p>\n

the girls were spreadign rose pettles for julia . <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

there were flowers everywhare.. most from our yard !<\/p>\n

not sure where the roses came from though . <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

we milled arond waiting for the wedding.. talign to folks. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

nice having gabe and raya  and max.. we missed becky.. <\/p>\n

i have to confess that I lost it when I saw the groomsmen.. I bet Sam would have been here… I wnet off and cried for a bit then felt better… I gave Nate a samstone to carry with him through the service.. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

then it was time for the weding. Marie palyed music she’d composed.. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Gabe had made this stone for nate and julia. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

nats uncle .. and our friend.. ted was officxiating as a JP.. \"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

then here they came.. no pictures were allowed during the ceremony.. so you’ll have to use yopur imagination..<\/p>\n

the ceremony itself was beutiful and olny lasted a few miunutes..  it wasnt long till we were milling around again,.. but noq with wine.. <\/p>\n

meg and brad braught Kasey !<\/p>\n

lots of old freinds of Sam’s.. jared and his BF>. Justin<\/p>\n

julia was having fun !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

beets.. hmmm.. i don’t like beets.. but I love diaen..a nd diane likes beets.. so that means I sort of like beets. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

jens mom really enjoyed the band !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

tim and diddier did a joint toast in english and french .. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

the Kevin and Liza did too . <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

it was so great having max there.. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

the groom and tim having a not so private moment.. <\/p>\n

the dishes , glasses and silverware were all intnetionally not matching. Diane was so happy that she’d gottoen the peacock plate that she’d so wanted.. ! .. somone was really thinking this out !

dinner had wonderful appetizers !.. fresh adn beutiful <\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

nate and hi mom danced <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

and so did max and gabe.. .. though soemwhat differntly !<\/p>\n

i was really missing sam all day.. really. really missing him …<\/p>\n

then it was tiem fro cake !<\/p>\n

then nate and julia’s first dance.. <\/p>\n

then a baloon release <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

max did soem really amazing rope dart.. <\/p>\n

whle the Gang of theives.. the so very excellent band played. .we know many of them from around VT.. they are really, really good !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Kasey loved my new light wand. .<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

keving helped sing a song..   then they crowd serfed nate !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

we did a little more fire spinning after the band quit.. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

what a fantastic day.. We wish Nate and Julia a long and loving life together…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ok.. gotta sleep..<\/p>\n
