Hmmmm.. i must have hit the wrong button a few weeks ago because all of a sudden I’m getting something called ‘endorsements’ from lots of the folks I know in Linkedin.. I have a bazillion connections in Linkedin.. but I don’t know why folks would all of a sudden start love bombing me with what they think i’m supposed to be good at. I must have leaned on the wrong button.<\/p>\n

the notes come in and say something like<\/p>\n

Well.. they’re not actually that strange.. but they might as well be..\u00a0\u00a0 Several folks have told me i’m good at project management.. HA !.. I can’t even plan my own breakfast. I’ve been anointed with skills in computer languages I’ don’t know and computer architecture components I haven’t though of since I was in college.<\/p>\n

Its fun and flattering to see what folks think<\/em> you know.. at the same time its kind of weird when folks say you’re good at that you yourself know that you’re not..<\/p>\n

I think this points out a problem with social networking that I’ve been thinking of lately..it’s\u00a0 that just because lots of people on the web think <\/em>somethings true doesn’t make it true.\u00a0 .<\/p>\n

If we’re goign to do this, can we try to attribute some really interesting skills to each other like\u00a0 ‘speaks to snakes’ .. or ‘glows in dark’ ,.<\/p>\n

now t looks like i need to go brush up on my Perl (im a python man myself)<\/p>\n
