I have about 48 hours at home.. and I am trying to fit as much nothing in as I can<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;nothing&#8217; includes time with family.. .. time in my shop.. which desperately needed cleaning<\/p>\n<p>CLeaning my shop is catahartic.. . its a great metaphor for clearing a crowded and busy mind.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_0337.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>you might not be able to see the &nbsp;big difference here.. but it involved sorting a bunch of electronics, fixing a tesla coil.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>sorting tools. putting away chemicals.. I&#8217;m a new man when it&#8217;s done.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_0360.jpeg\" alt=\"\">.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>one thing that turned up during my cleaning were some huge smoke-bombs made by my buddy scott. &nbsp; they are only potassium nitrate and paraffin . !<\/p>\n<p>lighting one of those contributed to the cleaning !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_0339.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 474px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><!--[if lt IE 9]><script data-jetpack-boost=\"ignore\">document.createElement('video');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-53484-1\" width=\"474\" height=\"267\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/smoke2.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/smoke2.mp4\">http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/smoke2.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_0341.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Diane and I tried to o get the girls out for a &nbsp;hieke. but it was still too cold .. It was over 10 degress. but had been -5 F &nbsp;~ -21 C<\/p>\n<p>last night. THe dogs revolted and woulnd&#8217;t hike.. so we brought them home and went back on our own. We followed our own tracks from yesterday up the hill. it was slow going in all that snow.. still more than 2 feet deep. . I made a point of steppign on the places I&#8217;d missed yesterday in order to better smooth the trail for the next folks coming through.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>here&#8217;s in front of us.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_0359.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>here&#8217;s what I left behind.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_0357.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>I dropped by the makeshift lean-to we found and placed a samstone &nbsp;there.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_0351.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_0353.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_0354.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>now .. gettign sleepy. goign to play soem pool then go to sleep..<\/p>\n<p>more from the road tomorrow.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>nite all. nite sam<\/p>\n<p>-me<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend was an interesting study in &#8216;hurry up and relax&#8217;.
