So proud of Gabe.. he graduated today after 4 years of Biochem at uvm.. he was deans list most semesters, bolder society, officer of the ski and snowboard club and turned in a kick ass honors thesis.. couldn’t be more proud !<\/p>\n

the mornig astarted early..w e were at gabes at 7 am.. it wa starting to rain.. none of us were really awake.. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

we walked to campus.. and were wet by the time we got there <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

diane and I settled in.. and proceeded to get ery. very. very wet and cold.. . but not as wet and cold as the grads like gabe who had to stand out in the rain <\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

many folks decided they’d had enough and took off.. <\/p>\n

.. including raya !<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

here come the soon to be grads <\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

it started raining even harder <\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

my good freind John a got an honorary doctorate !<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

there wasa great speech by alexander nemerov.. really, really great I<\/p>\n

m goign to try to get a transcript.. that talk made the day for me…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

eventually the commecment was over and the crads flowed out.. here’s justin <\/p>\n

there’s gabe lookign wet but happy <\/p>\n

we had an hour to go to the biochem and chem luncheon in the new DIscovery center. it was nice to meet gabe’s freinds <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

here’s summer. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

then back out for the aerts and sciences degree ceremony.. now the sun was out !<\/p>\n

here’s Gabe’s name in the program.. there were about 10000 folks graduating at this ceremony <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

andhere he is.. getting ready to cross (thanks to Max for these nice pics !) <\/p>\n

and with that .. he’s a grad !!!!!!<\/p>\n

then gabe and I went off to get his diplomana and go see Raya graduate..  everyone else went home. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

getrtign gabes actual degree (they handed out blanks to lower the chance of a mixup) <\/p>\n

\"\"a firend who’s paerents really took it up a notch <\/p>\n

we then ran over to gutterson to watch Raya graduate.. we sat down next o my freind walter quite by accident <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

and there goes raya <\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

so proud of that girl.. she’s such a wonderful freind to us all !<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

then back to gabes hose to head back home.. first a pose in front of the library where he no longer needs to study all the time !<\/p>\n

we had a great party at hone.. soemthign like 50-60 folks stopped by for grillign and chilling.. soem small speeches.. Gabe was woneerfullly thankful for all the freindship and support over 4 years <\/p>\n

it was a great time.. we had lawn games<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

fire breathig <\/p>\n

fireworks !<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

and wonderful freinds inside. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

grandma was here and really helped out.. I know having her here meant so much to Gabe !<\/p>\n

ok.. thats it.. I can’t stay awake any longer.. <\/p>\n

 We love you gabe.. we are so very proud of you<\/p>\n
