Managed to knock off at a fairly normal time.. took advantage of Gabe&#8217;s being here to help him make Sake from a kit he got last xmas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It was pretty easy so far.. &nbsp; its made from white rice. white raisens and white sugar..&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>it&#8217;s about &nbsp;3 month process. so it&#8217;ll be fun to watch.. and hopefully fun to drink !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_3989.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>first everything for the brewing gets sterilized.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_3988.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>then we diced up the white raisons&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_3991.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>rinced the rice&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_3993.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>then bagged the raisons and rice in muslin and tied it up<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_3992.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_3994.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_3996.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>then we added warm water.&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_3999.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_3998.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_4001.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>a wilde yeast inhibiter.&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_4002.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_4003.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>and two poinds of domino&#8217;s finest&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_4009.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>then a little acidifier &nbsp;stuff ?&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_4008.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_4012.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_4015.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>then seal it up for 2 days.. when we open to add the yeas t.&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_4017.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>on goes the airlock.. now time to wait !<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_4018.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>nakws ne want a glass right now 1<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>nite all. nite sam<\/p>\n<p>-me<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Super busy day with both jobs.
