Hi John….<\/p>\n

So much to tell about…so late to do it.\u00a0 Oh well.\u00a0 First the sad news.\u00a0 Well, there is quite a bit of sad news out in the world right now.\u00a0 I envy you being kept from that.\u00a0 I remember going to my yoga teacher training and talking a month long break from the world news.\u00a0 It was nice.<\/p>\n

Sad news from the North Korean missile launch…people needlessly killed in Binghamton and Pittsburgh…volcanoes erupting and the ground quaking in Italy.\u00a0 I think the best comment about the newspaper was that it was a list of prayers.\u00a0 It feels like that right now.<\/p>\n

Sad…but not tragic…Chai is recovering from her third abdominal surgury to remove stones.\u00a0 She went in Friday and is recovering well.\u00a0 I am sad that her life will now change.\u00a0 I am sad that she feels like crap.\u00a0 She will be required to wear a muzzle outside unless she is on a leash.\u00a0 There is no alternative.\u00a0 We cannot let her go through another surgery.\u00a0 So in my saddness of her loss of freedom I will know she will be safe.\u00a0 I just always imagined dogs could run free and just be happy.\u00a0 This is just unbeleivable that it could happen again.\u00a0 Enough though.\u00a0 We will keep her safe from herself and that will make us happy.\u00a0 She can look forward to romping in thick snow next winter without her muzzle.<\/p>\n

I cannot even venture into the details of my last Friday.\u00a0 I am happy for the support of friends to get through that day.\u00a0 I did spend the weekend in Montreal with friends on another adventure.\u00a0 That will be discussed later.\u00a0 I had great fun with Jill, Marcia and Page.\u00a0 Home was taken care by great friends.<\/p>\n

To end on an upbeat note I have some pictures Jen took of Gabe pond skimming.\u00a0 He and Nate went last and it was cold.\u00a0 Notice what the spectators were wearing.\u00a0 Too bad Trevor could not make it.\u00a0 It looked like a blast. \u00a0 <\/p>\n

The theme was “Woodstock and the 60’s”<\/p>\n

Yes Max…this is the wheel chair you left in the garage….it now is spray painted and has Trevor’s old skiis on it.<\/p>\n

Gabe…this is where you got those big bruises on the outside of your legs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It rises up again and goes the rest of the way switch (backwards).<\/p>\n

That looks way too cold for me.\u00a0 They won a pair of socks.\u00a0 I hear plans on making the wheelchair more adaptable for next year…maybe with snowboards instead of skiis.<\/p>\n
