{"id":59065,"date":"2018-07-03T00:04:46","date_gmt":"2018-07-03T04:04:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/?p=59065"},"modified":"2018-07-03T12:24:28","modified_gmt":"2018-07-03T16:24:28","slug":"mondya-night-yali","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/2018\/07\/03\/mondya-night-yali\/","title":{"rendered":"Monday night &#8211; Yali"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Another brutally hot day. &nbsp; 96 degrees at one point.. and humid !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6718.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>the temp reahced 90 degrees inside the house !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6722.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6725.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>got a midday break when I went to a lunch that Miro Weinberg, the &nbsp;mayor of Burlington had hosted&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>of entrepreneurs from Africa from a program is called YALI.. there were 25 really cool, creatives who were spending 6 weeks in the us based at Dartmouth. we had a great Ethiopian lunch in the delightfully air-conditioned Contois auditorium. We had an hour or so to get to know one another. what an impressive bunch.. there were filmmakers, weavers, digital marketing folks.. I really loved getting to know them &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6694.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6695.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>lunch was amazing,.. we ate everything uing delicious tear off ethiopian Injera bread&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6697.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6702.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6703.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>this guy had a shoe brand he was developing. he designed these&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6708.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6709.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6710.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6712.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6713.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6716.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>got home and worked the rest of the day in my tiny office space huddled over the air conditioner..&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>aroudn 6 I took the dogs out to the river.. it felt like a steamy equatorial jungle out there !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6730.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>we all had to go in the river.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6734.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6740.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6742.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6743.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6746.jpeg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>our garage sale was still goign on.. freind Kira tried on the bald scientist wig.. what do you thinK ?
