DIane and I woke up extra early (4:45) in order to drive to glacier national park for a hike. It turns out that most of the roads to the part of the park we want to see are closed due to all the fires.. So we blew it off and  went  up the Danny On trail.. a  few miles from here. It was beautiful.. The air was cool and full of smoke. It actually smells pretty good !<\/p>\n

the scene back at the house <\/p>\n

we took a stroll aroudn whitefish.. <\/p>\n

smoke makes the sunsets very pretty .  we went out in the boat to watch it set <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

hey.. an eagle !<\/p>\n

aroudn midnaight gabe and raya showed up.. they’ve driven 4700 miles !  SO great to have them here !<\/p>\n

ok.. tiem for  bed.<\/p>\n
