We did finsh hangign the new storm door..&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>aroudn 2 we got the idea to drive up the river and tube back to our place.. it was a perfect day for it.. it was 90 degrees here !<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>we pulled off at the long trail parking area and grabbed our innertubes<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0157.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0155.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0159.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>the water was cold.. but nice.. we put I ust by the long trail foot bridge<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0165.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0167.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>it was abotu a 2 hour float back to the house.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0168.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0169.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>o put a smastone on a big rock we&#8217;ve soemtimes eaten on .&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0172.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0174.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0175.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>at one point diane and I saw a culvert e&#8217;d never explored.. we paddled over there and got out.. there as soem old train track s.. perhaps from the big wreck that was near here..&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0177.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0178.jpg\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>the culvert dates from 1926.. the year before the flood.. amazing it survived that&nbsp;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0181.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0182.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>there were 4 culverts lined up.. one for the railroad, 2 for the interstate asn one for route 2.. we decided to walk them .<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0183.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>giant spiders guarded the entrance&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0186.jpg\" alt=\"\">\\<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0190.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0191.jpg\" alt=\"\">\\<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0193.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>the scenery,. light and sound in the culverts was amazing.. check out the videos below&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0194.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0195.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG_0199.jpg\" alt=\"\">\\<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SB8gf3Apoek\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hkmHhXOy5TI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ok.. gotta get soem sleep.. more tomorrow..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>nite all. nite sam<br \/>\n-me<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>very little labor in this labor day..
