Greetings from Rashik\u2026 I had a very good day here in Iceland. I gave four talks which all went pretty well. Interestingly the biggest with 500 people in the audience the audiovisual system failed and I had to go ahead without charts from halfway on\u2026 It was my talk on play and I was just on the part of pushing through failure so it could not have been better timed.<\/p>\n

I managed to keep going without skipping a beat and I think the audience appreciated that I ended on a new Icelandic turn that I’ve learned to love which is<\/p>\n

“\u00feetta reddast” (Note that first thing is not an IR it’s in Icelandic letter that’s sounds more like “TH”)<\/p>\n

It means something like “it will all work out”\u2026<\/p>\n

And it did<\/p>\n
