Matt was an amazing guy\u2026 We didn&#8217;t see him often but it was always around something really fun. He was a photographer for the local 7 days newspaper. We would run into him at all sorts of crazy things like art hop, or BCA shows, or Chris&#8217;s burns . One of my favorite memories is a photo shoot he did have hammers &#8220;Monroe doctrine&#8221; where we all dressed up as Marilyn Monroe and got photographed In a steam punk shower. (You had to of been there) <a href=\"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/2012\/02\/04\/friday-night-the-monoe-doctrine\/\">http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/2012\/02\/04\/friday-night-the-monoe-doctrine<\/a>\/<\/p>\n<p>Matt was an accomplished and eclectic artist\u2026 We had a really amazing eye for photography.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been to several of his shows\u2026 They were amazing and sometimes shocking. I remember a photograph of his father that was taken shortly after his father&#8217;s death. I couldn&#8217;t take my eyes off of it. He had a very interesting and unusual world of you and captured it really well.<\/p>\n<p>The last show I saw of his was at Burlington city arts. It was a fundraiser for Matt&#8217;s treatment. He got all his friends to come and i could tell that made him happy It was great seeing him then.<\/p>\n<p>Eva from Seven Days did this wonderful Interview with Matt a few months ago.
