Tonight is the end of each two weeks of very nice vacation. I didn’t go anywhere or do anything much. I was able to make a lot of things and hang out with my family\u2026 Two things I love doing<\/p>\n

The day started when our new roommate Eliot made chocolate and cherry scones for us. We’re now calling them S’cohns (get it ?)<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As a sign of my level of relaxation I’ve noticed I’ve started forgetting where I put my phone. It’s usually glued to one of my hands. Today I’ve missed placed it no fewer than four times.<\/p>\n

I didn’t have it with me when I got invited over to Bens to work with Pelch, Bauer, Moyers, Newt and Arron On our entry for the Baltimore kinetic race in May<\/p>\n

You’ll Have to imagine the pictures I would’ve taken of all the scribble designs on the backs of napkins\u2026 The derelict pontoon boat the guys bought from the state of Vermont, Ben and Tatiana’s Coq a Vin And bulgar, (I just take the Bulgar with mustard and cheese), birch sap to drink\u2026 And a bunch of middle-aged this guys laughing like kids about the crazy thing we’re going to build<\/p>\n

Later in the afternoon Dan and I met up with John and Lauren and took all of our dogs for a ski right before sunset. It was cold and blowing but beautiful outside<\/p>\n

OK\u2026 Tomorrow starts another year of work. I’m going to try to make it a good one<\/p>\n
