Had a kind of mixed day today with a few ups and downs\u2026 Nothing major. The biggest downer\u2026 And it was expected\u2026 Is that I didn’t qualify for the top flying status level for United Airways. I had flown so much over the last couple of years that I was in a non-published special class of service they gave me some really nice perks\u2026 I got kind of spoiled.<\/p>\n

Getting that news was kind of a funny feeling. I realize that by stepping away from the Nsame travel I was doing that I would get more of my life back\u2026 It’s kind of funny to see things like this are the very few things that I’m losing. All in all a good trade off<\/p>\n

Finish the evening with a very nice reception in Waitsfield for my friends Julie and bill who had just come back from Bhutan. Julie’s pictures were really amazing !<\/p>\n

As always Jleigh and Ville’s parties are a mix of very fascinating people. I ran into Margaret\u2026 A woman From the Boston areaWhose family i know well. I had just had dinner with her brother and sister-in-law on Tuesday night. How’s that for a small world?<\/p>\n

Now going to settle down for a long winters nap. The temperature is hovering around -3 Fahrenheit and going much lower tonight. Bundle up everybody<\/p>\n
