Hello from a very cold and windy Cambridge. It’s above zero but really strong winds\u2026 It feels like it’s probably a 20 below zero wind chill. I understand it’s even much colder at home. Diane and I are down here for a couple of days. The drive down was really tough. The roads were not very well cleared because of the cold weather and blowing snow. There were many accidents.<\/p>\n

It took us over 5 1\/2 hours to get down which is two hours longer than usual.<\/p>\n

Tonight I helped host a meeting of “the generator”\u2026 It’s a January term group that meets to talk about their independent AI based projects. We were the sponsors at tonight’s meeting. Attendance was on the lower side because of the really crazy weather\u2026 But even so we had a great quorum and our panel in the generator members had a really good time.<\/p>\n

We all went out afterwards for a nice dinner. On the way Hendrik showed us some wonderful pictures in one of the many basement tunnels that connect all the buildings here. They were all in Hanst with augmented reality using an app on your phone. It was really amazing<\/p>\n

The guy next to us in our Airbnb is smoking a whole lot of high-quality pot\u2026 I think we’re getting off just being next-door.<\/p>\n

So it’s off to dreamland\u2026<\/p>\n
