Busy day around the house. It was beautifully cool and breezy this morning we went for a run. Like every day I had to be particularly careful when I passed a certain spot. There’s a stump on the trail\u2026 A stump that I actually contributed to when I helped Cut this trail back in The early 2000’s.\u2026 I distinctly remember cutting the trees in this section of trail. Anyway\u2026 This one stump sticks up about an inch and a half and so many times I will catch my foot on it and end up sprawled out on the trail. Sometimes it happens when I’m going out sometimes it happens when I’m coming back.<\/p>\n

It’s always a tremendous jolt.\u2026 Sometimes I skinned my knees or my hands.. A couple of days ago I pulled a muscle in my leg.\u2026 I thought has always been to go and cut the damn thing down. Show it who’s boss. But on our run\u2026 During a particularly insightful conversation with Dianne\u2026 I realized that it was better to live with it and just watch out for it and avoid it.<\/p>\n

I found two cool rocks That now bracket it like apostrophes. I always see it coming now<\/p>\n
