<\/p>\nBusy day before vacation\u2026 Took Chai to her acupuncture\ufffc, got a fair bit caught up on work go outside for a bit\u2026 And in the middle of the day and interesting thing happened I got a FaceTime call from my old friend Brody. I had not talk to him since the late 1970s. It’s sort of kept up with his career\u2026 I knew that he was living in Belgium\u2026 I know that he is a world renowned calligrapher. I didn’t know much else. I’ve been trying to find him because I had several friends Who for one reason or another we’re in need of a world famous calligrapher.\u2026 We talked for about a half an hour\u2026 And tried to do as good a job as possible to cram almost 45 years of catch-up into that. It’s always tricky talking to someone I haven’t seen for a while. All stories lead up to you and radiate out from Sam’s passing. I found myself referring back to back point in time so many times in our catch-up. And interesting thing to reflect on. Anyway we had so much fun trying to encapsulate our lives, talk about old friends\ufffc\ufffc\ufffc, talk about our families\u2026 Brody was married and has one daughter\u2026 He lives in a Stonehouse from the 1300s on a canal in Bruges Belgium. He’s fluent in Spanish and German\u2026 And his English is still pretty good :-). I’d really like to get over there and see him and meet his family<\/p>\n
