Really nice and quiet day up here. We woke up early and hung around the house and work. Just before noon we made our big trip of the week which was into Essex Junction to buy new running shoes for the two of us. It was actually pretty fun. I’ve been running on the same shoes for several years\u2026 And sometimes I use my fathers old shoes. But Sean our physical sports guy Tells me I need to do something else if I want to keep my knees going strong. So I have some flashy new yellow and black shoes.\ufffc\ufffc<\/p>\n

This afternoon we decided to go for a longer hike. We drove one car up to Bolton Valley resort and then drove back down to the sugarhouse on the Bolton access room. We walked up the vast trail to the intersection of the new part of the long trail north. We then took that on the ridge between button notch and Bolton Valley Rhoads. It was beautiful. Somewhere between six and 7 miles.\u2026 We came out took a look around Harringtons of you and then hiked back down<\/p>\n
