Today my friend Pat Perry came over and set up the second heat pump for our house. These are amazing machines\u2026 And he’s an amazing wizard are figuring them out.<\/p>\n

These devices both heat and cool. I’m still marveling at the fact that these devices can extract heat from the air Even when it’s -15\ufffc\u00b0F outside. \ufffc). These things are called heat pumps because they are one of the most energy efficient ways of heating your house\u2026 But what I’m really excited about is that they also function as air conditioners. I get stupid when the temperature gets above 60\u00b0 so I’m really looking forward to using this thing to help at least dry out the house and chill it down in the hot summers we get now\ufffc<\/p>\n

It was really fun watching Pat install both of these units. He’s really a pro.\u2026 The install easily and look really nice.\u2026 The best thing I can say about them is you don’t notice them\u2026 You don’t see them and you don’t hear them.\ufffcThey look like they’ve\ufffc Been there forever.<\/p>\n

It was fun watching Pat install these\u2026 And I even got to help. I did all the electrical work\ufffc<\/p>\n

\ufffcI’m sitting here talking to the machine through the Alexa Right now\u2026 And it says hi :-)\ufffc<\/p>\n

I’m amazed at how easy and quick installation was\u2026 Pat also helped us figure out the financing so that half of the total cost of both of these was covered by rebates from Green Mountain power and from the Vermont energy.\u2026\ufffcI totally recommend busy times and I totally, totally, totally recommend that you talk to my friend Pat\ufffc<\/p>\n
